Raghubar govt gave thousand hectares of land to corporates: Supriyo

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on Saturday accused the previous government of Raghubar Das of giving thousands of hectares of land to the corporate house in the state.

Addressing a press conference here JMM general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said in the name of a land bank during the previous regime GM land was converted into land banks and given to the many corporate friends of the BJP.

He claimed that under Raghubar's regime many land scams had taken place in the state. He said that the only historic thing which took place in Raghubar Raj was loot of the land.

Bhattacharya pointed out the example of the registry of deed number 1881 and 1882 of Bundu block measuring a total of 1450 acres as land loot. He said that the act was executed with the collaboration of the than registrar, Land Revenue Minister and the Chief Minister.

He said that since the acts of the BJP are now coming out in the open therefore its leaders were making baseless allegations in frustration, Bhattacharya said while hiting back on allegations levelled by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.

He said that due to Coronavirus procession of Ramnavmi, Sarhul, Muharram and many other festivals was not taken out and no one complained on this but unfortunately the Godda MP was making wrong allegations against the state government over Shravani Mela in Deoghar.
