PDS system under Hemant government has collapsed in Jharkhand: Deepak Prakash

Ranchi: State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash alleged that under Hemant Soren the Public Distribution System has collapsed in the state and it is the middlemen and the corrupt who are calling all the shots.

Addressing a press conference here he said that such corrupt and middlemen also enjoy the shelter of those who are in power. He said that Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana of the Modi government was being welcomed by all the people hailing from different sections of the society and in such a situation the comments made by the Chief Minister are irresponsible.

The MP said that the state government wants to run away from its responsibilities. He said that the experience of the past three months points that the godowns are full but people are struggling to get the foodgrains. He said that the decision of the Centre to extend the programme of providing foodgrains till November will benefit more than 60 lakh families in Jharkhand.

He said that it was due to the great leadership of the Prime Minister that the country is far safer from the impact of Coronavirus as compared to other developed nations of the world. He said that the Prime Minister has fought against Coronavirus and worked for the welfare of the poor at the same time.
