Not allowing Shravani Mela is disrespectful towards law and Baba Baidyanath: Nishikant Dubey

Dumka: BJP's Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has alleged that before the verdict of the court the decision of the state government of not organising Shravani Mela in Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar and Baukinath in Dumka was disrespectful not only towards the court but towards 'Baba Bholenath' itself.

A livid MP said that on many occasions he has seen people fall down from sumit who have shown disrespect towards 'Baba' and if in the near future the present government in Jharkhand falls then it should not come as a surprise to anyone.
 

Talking to the reporters here he said that the High Court has set July 3 as the deadline for announcing its judgment in this regard however before that the decision of the state government not to organise the Shravani Mela is disrespectful towards the court and his lawyers will challenge the decision of the state government and said that he will also bring a privilege against the Chief Secretary of the state.

Dubey said that while temples across the country have been opened it was only the Hemant government which was not allowing the temples to open in the state. He said that the state government should have sat together with the Bihar government and should have taken a decision which should have been acceptable to all.
