Babulal demands for SIT probe into Dumka mob lynching

Ranchi: Leader of Legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi has demanded for a SIT probe into the Dumka mob lynching incident.

Mr Marandi has written a letter to Chief Minister Hemant Soren in this regard. He said that before the elections he had promised that no one would be allowed to take law in their hand, unfortunately, what was surprising to note is the reaction of the JMM and the Congress over the issue.

Attacking the Congress in the letter he accused it off turning away from the matter as for the party these types of incidents become important only when it is not in power in those states. He said that in the Congress-ruled state more focus was being awarded towards removing the RIMS Director, being at loggerheads with the health secretary and creating unnecessary uproar at the police station.

He said that the silence of all the parties which are in the government in the state was questionable. Mr Marandi has urged the Chief Minister that since the area was also related to his constituency, therefore, he himself should take note of the matter and ensure justice in the case.
