DIG South Chottanagpur visits Simdega

Simdega: DIG South Chottanagpur Akhilesh Jha visited the district during which he chaired a high-level meeting with the officials.

In the meeting, he asked the officers to make sure that all the provisions of the lockdown are strictly followed and instructed them to work to spread of Coronavirus in the district especially in wake of the return of migrant workers.

Talking to the reporters the DIG said that police will make sure that migrant labourers coming to the state do not face any problems. Moreover, he said that police will also make sure that no one in the state sleeps empty stomach as food is being provided at the community kitchens being operated in the state.

He said that the district police has been also instructed that there should be no let down in anti maoist operations in the district.
