Giridih administration sends more than 100 people back to Bihar

Giridih: The district administration has sent back a total of 109 people hailing from different districts of the neighboring state of Bihar in five buses.

Giridih DC Rahul Kumar Sinha said that following the directions of the central and the state government these people have been sent to their respective home districts. Along with the people couple of officials have been also sent who would be handing the people to their respective district authorities.

He said that these people have been also provided food packets and hand sanitizers on their return journey.

Further, he said that 137 students of the district have come back from Kota. The DC said that the students had reached by a special train at Dhanbad junction after which late last night they were brought to Giridih.

He said that after completion of necessary tests and health screening these students have been stamped with home quarantine and were later sent to their native block headquarters.  He has urged all the people who are coming back to follow the instructions of the central and the state government and maintain social distancing.
