Two more test positive for Coronavirus in state, tally reaches to 105

Ranchi: The state on Tuesday recorded just 2 confirmed cases of Coronavirus after which the overall tally of Covid-19 patients in Jharkhand increased to 105.

The two people who have been detected positive hail from Hindpiri area.

Now District wise Ranchi has 77 confirmed Coronavirus cases which included 2 foreigners, Bokaro 10, Hazaribagh 3, Koderma 1, Giridih 1, Simdega 2, Dhanbad 2  Deoghar 2, Garhwa 3, Palamu 3 and 1 in Jamtara. Out of these 105 cases 3 including a couple of men and a woman are dead.

Principal Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department Nitin Madan Kulkarni confirmed the 2 cases which have been recovered from the state capital of Ranchi.

Out of the 105 cases 83 are currently active in the state as 19 people have been either cured or discharged while three have died. District wise in Ranchi 10 people have been cured, Bokaro 4, Hazaribagh 2 Simdega 1 and Dhanbad 2.

Overall among the 105 patients, 77 are male and 28 are female.
