CM directs Jamshedpur Police to help dowry harassed victim

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed Jamshedpur Police to help a woman being harassed by her in-laws for dowry. Hemant has asked Jamshedpur police to provide all possible help to Neha Sharma.

The woman in her tweet said that for the last three years she was being harassed by her in-laws. She said that she has a two year old daughter whom her inlaws want to sell and they also commit atrocities on her.

She has urged the Chief Minister to help her in the situation. In another tweet he has directed to provide clean water to children studying in a primary school at Jogiyabeer Purvi under Ketar block of Garhwa district. He has asked the drinking water and sanitation Minister to ensure that the children get pure drinking water to drink.

Through a tweet the Chief Minister was informed that for the last three years the children had been forced to drink contaminated water and despite assurances the hand pump was not repaired.

Post the instructions of the Chief Minister the Minister of the department concerned gave necessary instructions to the officials and the DC of the area to solve the problems.

In another tweet he directed Ranchi DC to provide all possible help to Mehul Raj Mahto who was battling dengue. Mehul is a student or third year in BIT and was battling dengue for the last one week.

The family said that they earn less than Rs 10,000 per month and therefore they urged the Chief Minister to save the life of the boy.
