Garhwa: A staff of the revenue department was caught taking bribe by the sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau who was posted in Meral Circle Office of this district.
The arrested has been identified as Shankar Pandey who was nabbed by the ACB while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 from the complainant Yashwant Kumar.
The man in his complaint had said that Pandey was demanding the bribe for getting the mutation done of land.
Post the verification of the complaint the ACB laid a trap and arrested the man as soon as money exchanged hands. Later the team took the culprit with them for questioning to Medninagar.
