Gumla: Police have arrested three thieves who were involved in more than a dozen cases from the Sisai Police Station area of this district and recovered 45 stolen mobile phones and three motorcycles.
DSP Pranranjan said that Gumla SP had received a tip-off regarding the presence of these thieves in Sisai area after which raid was conducted at a house located behind the main road from where two thieves Arif Ansari and Jammaruddin Ansari were nabbed and based on their input their third associate Rohit Verma alias Pawan Verma was nabbed.
He said that among the three Rohit had served a prison term on a previous occasion.
Apart from the mobiles and the bikes various mobile parts and accessories have been also recovered from them.
