BJP MPs give memorandum to Shah demanding NIA probe into Chaibasa Massacre

Ranchi: The MPs of the BJP from the state gave a memorandum to Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanding for a NIA probe into killing of seven innocent tribals which had taken place in Burugulikera village under Gudri Police Station area of West Singhbhum district. 

During a function which was organised at Jagannath Maidan of the state capital on the occasion of merger of Babulal Marandi led JVM-P with the BJP the MPs who were also seated on the stage submitted the memorandum to the Union Home Minister who was present in the function as the main guest.

BJP MPs Sanjay Seth, PN Singh, Sudarshan Bhagat, Sunil Soren, VD Ram, Annapurna Devi, Mahesh Poddar and BJP MP from Chhattisgarh Ramvichar Netam gave the memorandum to Mr Shah.

On January 16, seven tribals who were opposed to Pathalgadi were beheaded by pro-pathalgadi supporters in Burugulikera village. Post the incident BJP had formed a 7 member fact-finding team to visit the spot and submit a report to the central leadership of the party.

Not only that the MPs from the state during the Budget Session of the Parliament had raised the issue as they had staged a dharna before the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside the parliament premises.
