Latehar: Four men who were riding on a couple of by-cycles lost their lives after they were run over by a speeding truck at Tutwa Mode under the Netarhaat Police Station area of this district.
The deceased have been identified as Naveen Beng (22), Nirmal Toppo (45), Pascal Thitiho (45) and Cyril Karketta (35). All of them hailed from Chormunda village. Eyewitnesses said that the men were travelling on two separate by-cycles when they were run over by the truck.
Police said that while three men had died on the spot one succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital. Later all the bodies were sent for post-mortem to Latehar Sadar Hospital.
