AJSU demands govt to provide 27 pc reservation to OBCs

Ranchi: The AJSU party has decided to function as an active opposition party in the state which will closely monitor the activities of the coalition government of the state and will also not make any compromise over the issues related to the people.

Briefing the press at the end of the two-day deliberations called by the party to assess the poll debacle central spokesperson of the Dr Devsharan Bhagat said that issues and thoughts of Jharkhand are a priority for the party and on those issues, it will continue its struggle. He said that the party has also decided to reconstitute the organisation at every level in the state.

Bhagat said that at divisional level also meeting of all the affiliate organisations of the party will be done for which in-charges have been appointed. The party also condemned the killing of 7 tribals in Burugulikera village of Chaibasa district and announced that a team will be visiting the area and interact with the kin of victims.

He also demanded the state government frame the domicile policy on the basis of the last land survey done in 1932 along with that it also voiced for providing 27 percent quota to OBCs in the state. The party also asked the Hemant government to come out in open as to who the exchequer got empty.
