Ranchi: BJP has attacked Hemant Soren's government of the state accusing it of planning to close all the successful schemes of previous state government and also alleged that the present cabinet ministers were deliberately trying to make the schemes controversial.
State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that the minister of the department concerned has said that he was planning to close the construction of dhobas (farm ponds) in the state as it was not useful and gross irregularities have been committed in the scheme. He said that BJP was not against any probe but it should be impartial.
He said that by announcing plans for closing of Krishi Aashirwad Yojana, registry of the property up to Rs 50 lakh in the name of women at just Rs 1, dhoba construction yojana the state government was trying to divert the attention of the people. He pointed that even when Prime Minister Narendra Modi came into power in 2014 he did not close Mnrega but rather brought changes to it.
