Development can not be hoped from an excuse making government: Arun Singh

Ranchi: National general secretary and BJP MP Arun Singh said that while the youth of the state were watching towards the state government in hope of job and unemployment allowance at the same time unfortunate incidents of Burugulikera and Lohardaga took place in the state.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here he said Hemant government has not got the capacity to realise on grounds the big promises which it had made to the people therefore now it was making an excuse that the exchequer was empty.

He said that on one hand, the government promised a loan waiver for the farmers, on the other hand, it has announced to close the Mukhyamnatri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana which was highly beneficial for the farmers.

He said that it was a black spot for the state that a family was forced to take the body of infant in a polythene and when the health minister him in his welcome ceremony does not allow the ambulance to pass through than one should not expect much from him.

He said that post the killing of the innocent tribals an environment of fear was prevailing among the people and despite such a big incident the administration did not give any concrete assurance to the kin of the deceased. He said that Hemant Soren in his very first cabinet meeting had decided to withdraw the case against such anti-national elements which resulted in the massacre.

Mr Singh said that BJP immediately took cognizance of the matter and sent a team to the spot which stopped midway, however, the party continued to raise its voice for the tribals as the MPs protested over the incident in the parliament premises while BJP Sameer Oraon also raised the issue in the Parliament.

He alleged that after the formation of the new government the unorganised crime has increased in the state and now people are scared in travelling towards Palamu and other districts as Mahagathbandhan government has given support to these trouble mongers.

He said that the incident of stone pelting from inside Congress office in Lohardaga was a clear indication that Congress did not want law and order restored in the state. Those present also included Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan and vice president Aditya Sahu.
