Garhwa: Police has arrested three men in connection with a bomb blast which had taken place in a school located under Badhgarh Police Station area of this district on January 26.
Garhwa SP Ashwini Kumar said that the arrested have been identified as Louis Jusipin Tirkey, Anup Kumar and Birendra Kharwar. He said that Louis was the main conspirator who wanted to kill his former wife who is currently the principal of the government primary school of Mahuatikar village.
The bomb was planted at the spot where the flag was to be hoisted so that the woman could have been killed however she survived the attack. The SP said that Louis wanted to kill his wife as she had left him and married someone else due to which he was angry.
The SP said that Louis had paid Rs 50,000 to the other men and had spent Rs 10,000 to buy the hand grenade. They had planted the bomb at the flag hoisting spot so that the principal could have been killed and police thought that it was an act of the ultras.
