Hemant allocates portfolios to ministers: Congress gets Finance, Rural Development, Agriculture & Health

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has distributed the portfolios among his cabinet colleagues with the cabinet ministers from Congress quota walking away with key departments of finance, rural development, agriculture and health.

A notification in this regard has been cabinet secretariat and the vigilance department. As per the notification Chief Minister Hemant Soren keeps Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha department, Home, Cabinet Secretariat and Vigilance Department and all other departments which have not been allotted to any other minister.

Aalamgir Aalam (Congress) was earlier handed over the charge of Parliamentary Affairs Minister also gets Rural Development (Rural Works, Panchayati Raj and NREP Special Division). Rameshwar Oraon (Congress) gets Planning cum Finance, Commercial Taxes and Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Satyanand Bhokta (RJD) has been given the charge of Labour, Employment and Training Department. Champai Soren (JMM) has been given the department of SC ST and OBC welfare and Transport Department.

Haji Hussain Ansari (JMM) has been allotted Minorities Welfare and Registration Department while Jaggarnath Mahto (JMM) has been given HRD and Excise and Prohibition Department. Joba Manjhi (JMM) has been handed over the charge of Women, Child Development and Social Security Department.

Banna Gupta (Congress) has been given charge of Health and Family Welfare Department along with Disaster Management Department. Badal (Congress) has been allotted Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department while Mithlesh Kumar Thakur was given charge of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department.
