BJP’s fact finding committee hands over report to Nadda over Chaibasa massacre

Ranchi: The fact-finding team of the BJP which was formed to probe into the killing of 7 tribals in Burugulikera of Chaibasa district on Wednesday submitted its report to party’s national president JP Nadda in which it has accused Hemant Government of not being fair in the probe and has also blamed the poor law and order situation in the state.

Former cabinet minister of state Neelkanth Singh Munda who was also in the fact-finding team later said that on January 24 the team was going to the village to meet the people and express their grief when they were stopped midway by the police. He said that after being stopped whatever talks happened between the people of the area and the members of the team on the basis of that the report has been formed.

On asked about JMM accusing BJP for doing politics in name of the massacre he said that when BJP team goes to spot section 144 is imposed while the Chief Minister easily goes and interacts with the people.

Post the massacre of 7 tribals on January 19 the BJP had constituted a fact finding team consisting of five MPs and Khunti MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda. The team on January 24 was going to Burugulikera but it was stopped on two spots by police after which it returned back.
