RMC to build temporary ponds in Viyanagar and Anand Nagar for Chhath

Ranchi (By our correspondent): The RMC will construct temporary ponds at the bank of Harmu River at Vidyanagar and Anandnagar for the Chhath festival.

Additional Town Commissioner Girija Shankar Prasad visited the ward number 26 and 27 and said that JCB would be used to dig up the area which will be filled with water so that people doing Chhath do not have any problems. It was also informed that generator and light arrangements would also be done at the spot by the RMC.

The additional town commissioner first reached the Harmu MTS after receiving reports of water being mixed in the garbage and inspected the cleanliness in the area. The locals complained that the company does not pick garbage at a proper time due to which they are forced to throw them on roads. Following the complaint, the officials asked the company to mend its ways and in future, no complaints should be received.
