Giridih: CPI-ML General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said that JVM-P supremo Babulal Marandi should resign as an MLA from Dhanwar seat and then join the BJP or do the merger of his party so that people of Dhanwar can elect their new MLA.
Addressing a function organised at the Bagodar Bus Stand on the occasion of 16th martyrdom anniversary of Mahendra Singh he said people of Dhanwar had given their mandate against the BJP.
However, it was not new that Marandi was planning to join the BJP after the polls as earlier his MLAs use to switch the sides but now he is merging his entire party.
He said that in the assembly elections the people had given their mandate not only to change the government but also to make a new Jharkhand as per the dreams of Adivasis and Moolvasis and protecting the Jal, Jungle and Zameen of the state.
Bhattacharya said that the Jharkhand government should not implement CAA and NRC in the state. He said that people have hit the streets on these issues across the country and accused the BJP of attacking the constitution.
He alleged that voices of the students in all the educational institutions including Jamia, JNU and AMU were being pressed. He said that the BJP wants to suppress the voice of the people but Modi and Amit Shah will not be able to silence the voices.
