CS directs to organise ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar ‘ programme on every Wednesday and Saturday

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Secretary DK Tiwari has directed all the DCs to organise ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme at all the blocks and panchayats on every Wednesday and Saturday as the government has decided that now people will not have to run after the offices for getting their work done but the officials will themselves reach to them and solve their complaints.

Mr Tiwari said that works which can not be solved on time for them a timeline should be fixed and the concerned person should be informed on the phone. He said that the DCs will be travelling to the blocks and panchayats on every Wednesday while the DDCs would do the same on every Saturday.

He said that information regarding the presence of the officials in the respective areas will be shared by different mediums of communication so that more number of people can take its advantage.

He said that in the programme apart from the DC and DDC officials of all the concerned departments should be present.

The Chief Secretary said that apart from solving the complaints of the people the officials will also apprise the people regarding the various schemes of the government and also tell them the ways as to how they can take its advantages.

The Chief Secretary said that the focus of the government was on such schemes which can reach to maximum people. He directed the officials to focus on problems related to pension, ration, anganwadi sevikas, para teachers and payment of honorarium for people working on contract in the state.

He also directed the officials to submit a monthly report of the programme and said that the planning department has been made the nodal department for this initiative.

He also asked officials to make employment offices more active in their areas.

The Chief Secretary also asked the officials to maintain law and order and follow the directions given by the home department in its letter. He asked the officials to keep an eye on agitation and demonstrations and ensure that common people do not face any problems.

The DCs on their part assured that law and order will not be allowed to become an issue during demonstrations. Mr Tiwari also directed Khunti SP to do the groundwork to take back the cases levelled against Pathalgadi incidents.

Those who were present in the meeting included Additional Chief Secretary Home Sukhdeo Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Finance K K Khandelwal and Secretaries of various other departments.
