Daltonganj: Two people including a woman lost their lives in separate accidents which took place under different police station areas of the Palamu district.
Police sources said that in the first accident which took place at Chiyanki under Sadar Police Station area a motorcycle-borne couple were hit by a speeding SUV in which the wife Devpati Devi died while her husband sustained injuries. The duo were going to Manika of Latehar district.
In a separate accident which occurred under Panki Police Station area, one Inder Deo Singh (58) lost his life after he was hit by a speeding motorcycle at Neemachak village. Police later handed over both the bodies to the families
after conducting a post-mortem.
