Maoists set bus on fire in Chaibasa

Chaibasa: Ultras belonging to the proscribed CPI Maoists once again tried to make their presence felt in the state by executing couple of incidents in different assembly areas of the West Singhbhum district.

In the first incident under Chaibasa Assembly area a bus was set on fire in Jojohatu. The arsoning was executed at Badkela panchayat.

The bus had come to take the members of the polling parties to the relocated booth. However no casualties were reported in the incident.

The members of the polling parties were later sent to their location by a separate bus. In a separate incident which took place under Manoharpur Assembly area at Kuida Pahad of Goeilkera the maoists executed explosions and indulged in firing.

The security personnel and officials of the local administration were keeping an eye on the situation
