Time to teach a lesson to those who destroy in the name of development: Shatrughan Sinha

Chatra: Star campaigner for the Congress party Shatrughan Sinha said that elections of Jharkhand were an opportunity to teach a lesson to those who have destroyed the state in the name of development.

Addressing an election meeting in Simaria which goes into the polls in the third phase on December 12 he said that the central and the state governments have become arrogant as they were in power and accused them of making hoax claims of development to get the votes of the people.

Mr Sinha said while on one hand, the government was making big claims of development the people are only able to see small-small things. He said that it was a challenge before the people as to how they want to teach arrogance a lesson.

The Bollywood superstar said that without any consultations demonetisation was announced in the country and GST was also implemented in the same manner which has destroyed the economy of the nation. He said that after GST came into effect production got down, price rise reached sky high as a result of which farmers were not getting the right price of the products.

On the everyday rising cost of the onions, he said that the vegetable on the previous occasions also has made the people cry and ensured the downfall of the state government and this time also it will do the same in Jharkhand. Mr Sinha said that vote and ballot was the best way to give reply to the atrocities of the government.
