Those who are wearing glasses of corruption can not see development: Smriti Irani

Jamshedpur: Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani addressed three election meetings in Kolhan during which she said that with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leadership of Chief Minister Raghubar Das Jharkhand has made rapid progress in the last five years.

However, the opposition parties are still asking questions over the development which they are not able to see since they were wearing the glasses of corruption.

Ms Irani pointed out the number of schemes whose benefits have reached to the people in the state including Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PMAY, Toilet construction, Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Mukhyamantri Aashirwad Yojana etc.

She said that to make sure that the people continue to get their advantage on December 7 they should press the symbol of Lotus on the EVMs as on lotus only Goddess Laxmi will come to their homes.

Addressing another election gathering at Ghatshila she said that in five years the BJP government has constructed 11 crore toilets for the women who waited for darkness to ho out in open as BJP government has taken a pledge to make a clean and healthy India.

She said that Goddess Laxmi never comes on ‘bow and arrow’ but always sits on a lotus, therefore, people should ensure the victory of party candidates in these polls. She also thanked the people for their huge support during the Lok Sabha polls due to which Narendra Modi returned with a larger mandate.
