Double engine government has changed the face of villages: Raghubar

Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das addressed four election meetings across different assembly segments of the Kolhan region during which he highlighted the achievements of his government and claimed that no differentiation had been made in the development of the cities and the villages.

He said that whether it was the area of Santhal Pargana or Kolhan in every village power and street lights have been provided by his government. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make sure that through pipeline water goes into every home by the year 2022. He claimed that roads have been constructed inside the forests and a network of roads have been laid across the state.

Mr Das said that for the empowerment of the girls the Sukanya Yojana was started under which till the time of the birth of the girl child to her marriage a sum of Rs 70,000 will be provided. Adding further he said that even in Jammu Kashmir now the tribals will be eligible for reservation and this was made possible as people voted for a strong government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr Das said that in 2014 polls the people had voted for a majority government due to which in the last five years not a single allegation of corruption was leveled. He assured that Jharkhand will be made free from maoists. He said that under his tenure 22,000 km of roads was constructed while in 30 lakh homes power was provided.
