Chaibasa: Committed to community development, the Tata Steel built 'Jubilee Park' was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest along with Sunil Bhaskaran, Vice President (Corporate Services), Tata Steel. Built at a cost of Rs 10 crore, Tata Steel along with KRG Rainwater Foundation, Chennai has revamped the lake to give it a new face.
The project involves beautification and resurrection of the lake by arresting and diverting the various sources of contamination. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that Tata Steel has a rich legacy in community development in its areas of operation and taking forward this legacy Tata Steel has developed this Jubilee Park to the people of Chaibasa “We are very happy that the synergy between the government and Tata Steel has worked out well. Tata Steel has always focused on responsible business practices with community-centric interventions.
