Tala Marandi joins AJSU, Sarfaraz Ahmed goes to JMM

Ranchi: During the ongoing election process in Jharkhand leaders eager to contest the polls are knocking doors of one party or the other and are settling down with whichever party which gives them the green signal for the ticket from the choice of their seat leaving behind the years of work done with their previous parties.

Today sitting BJP MLA from Borio Tala Marandi who was denied ticket by the party joined the AJSU party in presence of party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto.

Tala Marandi previously had reached JMM’s acting president Hemant Soren and had requested him to give him the ticket from Borio seat of Santhal Pargana.

However, as JMM cleared the name of Lobin Hembrom from the seat Tala Marandi reached the doors of AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto who was more than happy to accommodate him in the party fold as he wants to make a strong impression in the Santhal Pargana region which is dominated by JMM and BJP.

On the other hand, former MP Dr Sarfarz Ahmed who had wanted to contest the assembly elections from Gandey seat on Congress ticket however in the seat-sharing pact the seat went to the Congress after which he today joined the JMM which fielded him from the seat.
