Bokaro (RP Service): Police have arrested two smugglers along with 26 kilograms of ganja which was being smuggled from Odisha at ITI Mode under Chas Police Station area of this district.
Bokaro SP Karthik S said police had received a secret tip-off that a West Bengal bound car from Odisha carrying a large quantity of ganja after which a special police team was formed.
During the vehicle, checking drive the car which was containing the ganja is the gate panel was seized. He said that the arrested have been identified as Raju Khilo of Koraput district of Odisha and Sanjeet Gorai of Purulia of West Bengal. He said that the Ganja is smuggled from Uttar Pradesh to Odisha and from there it is brought into West Bengal for illegal supply.
