Daltonganj (RP Service): Palamu police on Sunday claimed to have solved the murder case of PDS dealer Babloo Singh who was also the son of a local BJP leader and arrested two people in this connection including a woman.
Police said that the deceased was killed over an extramarital affair in which the accused Jitendra Tiwari and Bandana Singh alias Rambha have been arrested while two of the other accused Mukesh Paswan and Banti Sharma are absconding.
Palamu SP Inderjeet Mahtha said that a special investigation team led by SDPO Manoj Kumar Mahto was constituted to crack the case. He said that the team discovered that Bandana Singh had an affair with the deceased and also with one Jitendra Tiwari alias Jitu.
On a prior occasion also Jitendra and Babloo Singh had a heated altercation over the woman. Scared by the threats of Babloo Singh, Jitendra Singh paid money to the other two accused to kill Babloo Singh who was killed a few days ago near a petrol pump under Hussainabad Police Station area.
