Youth are the biggest strength of power for the state government: Das

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that youth are the biggest resource for the state and the biggest strength of power for the state government and it in on the basis of their skills the state will be scaling new heights of development.

Addressing the people after inaugurating the Hotel Management Institute and other schemes he said that previous governments did not pay attention towards the skill development of the youth and as per the changing circumstances they needed to have the skills apart from the degree and it was due to this reason the central government formed the skill development ministry.

He said that the state government was also spending a sum of Rs 700 crore for skill enhancement of the youth and was making them skilled through hotel management and nursing training and linking them with jobs.

He said that apart from the mineral wealth the state has been also blessed with natural beauty and the dams and waterfalls of the state are being developed so that it creates direct and indirect employment for the locals and the government will also be able to generate revenue, therefore, work was on to promote cultural and Eco-tourism in the state. He said that he was extremely happy to start the schemes for the development of Betla, Dalma and Chandil and in days to come the tourists coming to the state will be able to take its benefits.

Mr Das said that he was extremely pained to see the condition of Luguburu Ghantabari and therefore had thought to visit the place as spiritual spot which has been achieved to a certain extent. He said that foundation has been laid for building a Subidha Bhawan which will be beneficial for the people and a museum will also be constructed to preserve the heritage of the Santhal Tribes.

He said that players from Jharkhand have made a name for themselves in the area of cricket, hockey and archery but football is a more popular game and the state government was trying to create a name in the area of sports for which the Kamal Clubs were formed to encourage sports at the village level and even players at panchayat level are being provided funds to take nutritious food.

He said that soon separate boys and girls football teams will be formed to bring out the hidden talents and also announced that grounds will be constructed at the panchayat level.

Tourism Minister Amar Buari said that Dalma, Getalsud, Netarhaat, Betla are being developed as eco-tourism circuit which will be a center of attraction for the visitors. He said that steps to increase facilities at Luguburu has also commenced where a community center will also be set up. He said that Kamal clubs have been formed at the levels of the block through which the youth are being linked with sports and social activities and every club will be given Rs one lakh so that player do not have to worry for their needs.
