Daltonganj: An employee working at the mutation office in Palamu was caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 2500.
The arrested has been identified as Tripurari Prasad. The man was later presented before the special ACB court which forwarded him to judicial custody.
ACB officials said that a complaint against him was lodged by one Sanjay Singh of Singrakala who had claimed that the Prasad was demanding the bribe which he was not willing to pay after which he registered a complaint with Medninagar bureau of the ACB.
Post the verification the ACB laid a trap and arrested the man as soon as money exchanged hands. The man hails from Rohtas district of Bihar.
