RPF and CBI conduct raids against illegal Tatkal ticket black marketing in Ranchi

Ranchi (By our Correspondent): Post the order of the railway board the joint team of the RPF and the CIB conducted simultaneous raids at the PRS counters across the city during which the computer and other documents from the PRS counters in Ranchi, Namkum and Hatia were seized.

The team which conducted raids at Ranchi and Namkum let off the people after it found nothing objectionable while a computer and other documents were seized from a shop located at Sharma Mode at Dhurwa of Hatia and three people taken into custody. The action was taken against the PRS counters as it was complained that post the end of the festival season the tickets in Tatkal and general category are sold at huge prices in the black market.
