Godda: A police jawan lost his life following a collision between a bike and a tractor which took place under Meharma Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Sintu Yadav (35) who was posted in Narayanpur Police Station in Jamtara district.
Police sources said that the police jawan was seriously injured as the bike on which he was traveling collided with a tractor following which he was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Police later sent his body for postmortem to Sadar Hospital.
