Couple dead following mine-cave in at Koderma

Koderma: A couple lost their lives as a closed mica mine in which they had gotten inside to collect mica caved in at Karmatand under Satgawan Police Station area of this district.

The deceased have been identified as Horil Rai (45) and his wife Panwa Devi (37). The couple had late Sunday afternoon had gone inside the mine to collect the mica when suddenly the mine caved-in due to which both of them died on the spot.

However, the police got to know about the incident on Monday itself after which it reached the village and sent the bodies for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital. Post the death of the couple their four children have become orphan.
