Three more maoists nabbed in Kukru Haat incident

Saraikela-Kharsawan: The Saraikela Police has arrested three more Maoists for their role in the Kukru Haat incident which took place on June 14 under Tiruldih Police Station area of this district in which five policemen including couple of ASIs were martyred.

DIG Kolhan Kuldeep Dwivedi said that is another major breakthrough in Kukdu Haat and Harangda blast case. The forces fought hard and gunned down couple of Maoists as revealed by the caught ultras. He said that special teams are working round the clock and all maoists involved in the killing of the policemen will be nabbed. Full fleged operations are on and police will not stop unless the Maoist menace is wipped out from the state, the DIG said.

On the other hand, Saraikela SP Karthik S said that the policemen were killed by a squad of Anal alias Ramesg and Maharaj Pramanik. He said that police had received tip off that maoist involved in the incident were roaming in Ichagarh and Saraikela and Kharsawan areas after which special team arrested hardcore ultras Lakhan Sardar, Joseph Purty alias Tipu and Enam Hassa have been arrested. Five other ultras involved in this incident have been arrested earlier.

Police said that Lakhan Sardar is a close confidant of Anal alias Ramesh and Maharaj Pramanik. He said that Lakhan was also involved in Harangda IED blast which was executed targeting the security forces. Police said that Lakhan has confessed that he had provided inputs regarding the movement of the troops to Maharaj Pramanik. In Harangda incident in police firing a Maoist was killed whose body was taken away by his associates and buried.

Police said that Joseph Purty with Enam Hassa use to provide clothes, shoe, ration, sim card, steel can to make IEDs, wires and explosives to the maoist squad led by Anal Da and Maharaj Pramanik.
