Raghubar Das and other leaders mourn the demise of former Dhanbad MP AK Roy

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das lead the group of politicians who offered their grief over the passage of three time former Dhanbad MP and Communist Thinker AK Roy.

Roy who had turned 85 on June 15th this year breathed his last at the Central Hospital in Dhanbad today.

Mr Das has expressed his grief over the passing of former MP AK Roy. He said that with the demise of former MP Massive loss has been caused to the state and has directed to conduct his last rites with full state honors.

Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren of the JMM in his condolence message has said that the JMM family was deeply pained following the demise of Comrade AK Roy who was a great supporter of friendship between Red and Green Flags. He has described him as voice of the workers of Koylanchal and a fine example of honest politics in the present era.

AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto too offered his condolence over the passing of Mr Roy who also served as a three time MLA. He said that AK Roy was a symbol of simplicity and struggle who till the end of his life struggled for the poor, workers and the Jharkhandi Thoughts and said that in public life there is no one comparable to him. He said that Roy Da dedicated his life in fight against corruption and mafia.
