Gumla: A female teacher of the Kartik Oraon Bal Vikas Vidyalay located at Puto village under Ghagra Police Station area of this district was beaten up by the school principal and other staff as a result of which the child in her womb died.
The victim Satmi Kumari said that the principal and other staff has beaten her on July 7 and after a couple of days she approached the Ghagra Police Station to register her complaint.
The policemen on duty had assured her an investigation will be done but did not turn up at the school.
