JMM demands immediate arrest for Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan for beat SAIL official

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has demanded for the immediate arrest of BJP’s Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan who has been accused of manhandling of an official of the Bokaro Steel Plant.

Addressing a press conference here JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya alleged that due to the support of Chief Minister the morale of BJP MLA and workers was on high who think that now they can get away with any wrong act. He said that earlier also Ichagarh MLA of the party Sadhu Charan Mahto had beaten up the land acquisition officer but now action was taken against him.

He alleged that while on one hand, the government was taking away the land of the ‘rayats’ on the other hand the MLAs were looting the government land and when any officer tries to stop them they are beaten up by the MLAs which show the real condition of law and order in the state.

He demanded that the Chief Minister should clarify on this issue during the monsoon session of the assembly. Mr Bhattacharya said that in the meeting of the core committee which has been scheduled at the residence of party supremo Shibu Soren discussion will be held on the present political scenario and coalition apart from that strategy for monsoon session will also be worked out.
