Homes under PMAY near Birsa Munda Jail premises to be constructed by Sep end

Ranchi: 180 homes which are being constructed under PMAY near the old jail premises is expected to be completed by September end.

Urban Development Minister C P Singh on Tuesday inspected the construction site and directed the contractor executing the project to use sand for construction of the pending road instead of and also asked him to complete the project on time keeping in mind the quality of work.

The construction of the house is being executed by the officials of JUDCO. The minister directed their officials to ensure that construction work at all cost is completed by September and said that after the completion of the project soon work to construct another 180 homes at Banhora will commence.

Under the project, 180 G plus three homes are being built. The entire area will consist of 9 blocks which are being constructed at a cost of Rs 14.66 crore and will consist of a bedroom, kitchen, washroom, balcony and hall.
