Dumka: Two people including a ‘kanwariya’ were killed following a collision between a Hyva and an autorickshaw which took place on the Dumka-Siuri main road under Saraiyahaat Police Station area of this district while many others were injured.
Post the accident the injured were rushed to the community health care center at Saraiyahaat. Locals said that there were a total of 9 people traveling in the autorickshaw including the driver and all of them were returning after performing puja at Basukinath Dham.
At Barhet village the Hyva coming from the opposite end rammed into the autorickshaw in which the driver and the kanwariya was killed on the spot while seven others including two children were injured. All of them hailed from Banka district and had gone to Basukinath to offer obeisance on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
