Rs 1.44 lakh looted in two separate incidents in Palamu

Daltonganj: In two separate cases unidentified miscreants looted a sum of Rs 1.44 lakh under different police station areas of the Palamu district. 

In the first incident which took place under Haidernagar Police Station area, four masked miscreants looted a sum of Rs 1.04 lakh from an employee of a microfinance company on the Haidernagar-Mohammedganj main road.

In another incident, a group of tourists who had come to visit the Betla National Park from Ranchi was looted by the criminals on gunpoint.

The miscreants decamped with Rs 40,000 in cash and three bags of the tourists.
