Two day divisional level ‘Yuva Vigyani’ programme held at Indira Balika Residential School

Ranchi: To develop the inclination of the girls towards science the Jharkhand education project organised a two day Yuva Vaigyanik (Young Scientist) program at the Indira Gandhi Balika Aawasiya Vidyalaya here in which the girls selected from Hazaribagh, Chatra, Koderma and Ramgarh district participated. In the program three girls from the state who had participated in a similar function in Bengaluru also shared their experiences.

The event was inaugurated by IAS probationer Sameera S and other officials. Student of Delhi Public School Ranchi Dhriti Barnwal through a presentation showed the purpose behind the visit to ISRO and its benefits and her experience. Through pictures, she also gave detailed information about the rocket launching pad satellite Chandrayaan Satellite program human Space Program Mangalyaan mission control etc. Student of Kasturba School Dhalbhumgarh Montu Pani and a student of Kasturba School Jaridih Rinki Kumari also shared their experiences.

The girls said that visit to ISRO was like a dream come true and apart from increasing the inclination towards science it also inspires them to do something for the country and said that they have learned that if the girls work with dedication in Science field then no target was impossible to achieve.
