Ranchi: The seasonal deficiency in rainfall has been reduced from (- 45%) to (- 30%) during last one week in Jharkhand.
According to Met department “ the recent past week, actual rainfall was 84.1 mm against normal rainfall 73.4 mm, which was above normal of Weekly Average by 15% over the state as a whole”.
For the Jharkhand as a whole, cumulative rainfall during this year’s monsoon season from 1 June - 12 July was 224.7 mm against normal rainfall 321.6 mm, which was below normal of Long Period Average (LPA) by 30% over the state as a whole. Total 18 nos. of districts received below normal, 05 normal & 01 above normal rainfall.
