Daltonganj: A local court in the Palamu district awarded life imprisonment to notorious gangster Sujeet Sinha and his associate Uttam Kumar Singh in a murder case and also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on them.
The court of District and Sessions Judge Pankaj Kumar awarded the punishment to the duo in case number 148/2007. The duo along with their other associate had demanded extortion from Bhushan Singh and Sunil Singh who were later shot dead as they did not agree to the demands of the criminals.
In this incident, a case was registered at Medninagar Police Station area bearing number 79/2006.
