Sucess in development works has drawn attention of nation towards Jharkhand: Javdekar

Ranchi: Union Minister for Forest Environment and climate change Prakash Javdekar said that the success in development schemes has drawn the attention of the entire country towards Jharkhand.

In a meeting with Chief Minister Raghubar Das at Shastri Bhawan in New Delhi the Minister also directed to transfer Rs 4046.19 crore under Campa fund to the state. The Chief Minister said that from this fund works being executed under Campa scheme would be added speed.

He also urged the Union Minister that among the nine rivers of the country Damodar and suvarnarekha should also be included so that all round development of the catchment areas of these rivers could be done over which Mr Javdekar gave his approval and said that soon all the process in this regard would be completed.

The Chief Minister appointed that there was a need to make some corrections in the proposal which is given online for forest clearance so that all information can be sent together and the application can be disposed of within a stipulated time frame over which the Union Minister assured to take a positive decision in the interest of the states after consulting the officials.
