Dhanbad: Couple of youths lost their lives while three others were injured in a car accident which took place under Bhuli OP of this district.
The deceased have been identified as Abhishek Chowdhary (18) of CMPF Colony Jagjivan Nagar and Sonu Kumar Hansda (18) of Pandrapala. The duo was engineering students in Durgapur while three others including Nawab Aalam alias Sonu, Raj and Aatif were injured in the incident who have been admitted at separate hospitals.
Police said that the occupants of the car were coming toward Bhuli from the railway station and the car was being driven by Aatif. Police said that since the speed of the car was high it suddenly rammed into an electricity pole and later hit the boundary wall of the school in which all of them were seriously injured. A police patrolling team rushed the youth to a nearby hospital where two of them were declared dead.
