Giridih: A total of 21 cybercriminals have been nabbed from Giridih, Jamtara, Deoghar and Dumka districts.
From Bengabad and Ahilyapur police station areas 7 cybercriminals were nabbed from whose possession three bikes, more than a dozen sim cards and passbooks have been recovered.
A team of the cyber police led by DSP Sandeep Suman arrested these cybercriminals. Earlier a team cyber police station in Jamtara had arrested a couple of cybercriminals from Patrodih village. The arrested duo of father-son were later forwarded to jail.
Cyber police had received a secret tip-off that in Patrodih village one Daud Miyan and along with his three sons were duping lakhs of rupee from the accounts of the people following which police conducted raids and managed to arrest Kalim Miyan and his father Daud while two of his other sons managed to flee from the spot. Police was conducting raids to nab the absconding sons.
Police has also seized a SUV, a bike, 4 atm cards, 3 mobile phones and sim cards.
