88.44 percent complaints solved at Jansamwad Kendra

Ranchi: Out of total 3.79 lakh complaints which have been registered at the Jansamwad Kendra a total of 3.21 lakh complaints amounting to 88.45 complaints have been filed.

Earlier the weekly review of the complaints registered at Jansamwad Kendra was taken by Additional Secretary Ramakant Singh during which a total of 20 complaints were taken up by him.

Over a complaint from Dumka, he directed the Nodal officer of the district to hold a meeting with the insurance company so that victims of gas cylinder blast which took place on March 7, 2017 in which a couple identified as Dulaal Bhandari and Babita Devi were injured.

Following a complaint from Sahibganj where it was pointed that for the last 7 years the work of laying pipeline for drinking water in ward number 28 was on due to which population of 2000 people were facing problem over this the Nodal Officer of the drinking water and sanitation department said that in the next 18 months the work would be completed over which Mr Singh directed the officer to ensure that the work is completed within the stipulated time.

One Uma Shankar Singh of Ranchi complaint that his son Abhishek Yadav had been missing for the last 3 years and an FIR in this regard was registered at the Khel Gaon police station but so far his son has remained traceless.

Over this IG to DGP samsta Bridge directed the DSP Ranchi to continue the investigation and older review meeting once again with the investigating officer and SP Ranchi. He also directed to question the relatives and friends of the boy in this case.

Ranbir Pratap Singh and another 117 people had registered their complaint that they had worked as Lion Man in minority rural franchise company in the power department from September 2014 to April 2016 but it in these 18 months the company did not pay them their daily wages over this additional secretary asked to reserve the matter during the Seedhi Baat of the chief minister.
