In all 53 wards of RMC rain water harvesting to be put into place

Ranchi: The Jal Shakti Abhiyaan on Sunday was started in the capital which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Raghubar Das following which in all the 53 wards of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation work on rainwater harvesting and plantation drive commenced.

The municipal corporation commenced the plantation drive from Badgai Talab while work to erect a rainwater harvesting plant in the newly constructed building of the municipal corporation later also commenced.

All the ward councilors later in their respective wards in the multi storey buildings commenced the work for rainwater harvesting and in ward number 20 in Laxmi Narayan apartment soak pit for rainwater conservation was constructed.
